How the quizzes work

Think of mytypecard as a conversation starter: twelve small choices, one illustrated character, and a reason to compare notes with a friend. It is not a validated personality instrument, and it does not measure ability, mental health, or your value as a person.

Twelve answers, four preferences

Every quiz contains three two-choice questions for each of four letter pairs. Each answer adds one vote to one side. The side with at least two votes supplies that letter, so there are no ties. Combining the four letters produces one of sixteen characters.

These labels simplify complicated human habits. Choosing Heart does not mean you cannot reason, and choosing Cozy does not mean you dislike people. Both sides can be useful in different situations.

Reading your mix

The bars show the share of your three answers on each scale. Two Spark choices and one Cozy choice appear as 67% Spark and 33% Cozy. Three Spark choices appear as 100%. Those percentages describe your answers in this short quiz; they are not confidence levels or precise measurements of your identity.

Why another quiz can give another type

Taking the cat quiz asks you to imagine a different setting from the bakery quiz. You may answer differently depending on the scenario, your mood, or how you interpret the choices. With only three questions per scale, changing one answer can change a letter. Treat a result as an invitation to reflect rather than a permanent label.

Character pairings and friend chemistry

Every result includes two deliberately contrasting character pairings. The first switches the social and planning letters; the second switches the detail and decision letters. These are writing prompts for funny friendships, not scientifically established matches.

Challenge links include your four-letter type. After your friend completes that same quiz, the chemistry game starts at 39 points. It adds 20 for sharing S/N, 15 for sharing T/F, 15 for differing on E/I, and 10 for differing on J/P. This creates a score from 39 to 99, displayed as a playful percentage. The weights are a creative choice, not research findings. A lower score is not a reason to judge a friendship.

Saving and privacy

Your latest result and answer mix for each quiz stay in this browser's local storage. There is no account or cross-device synchronization. Download a Story card (1080 × 1920) or a Post card (1080 × 1350) to keep an image. Clear saved results in the footer removes the stored quiz results from this browser; it cannot delete images you downloaded or messages you already shared.

A useful way to share

Ask a friend which part of the character sounds like you and which part does not. Tell them about a specific situation rather than treating four letters as the whole story. If a description does not fit, you can simply enjoy the illustration and move on.
